Music and Radio – Music is one of the main pillars of Harlem place in history, and the radio too. Some of the greatest musicians were and are still in Harlem, starting with Duke Ellington, William Strayhorn, Ira and George Gershwin, Billy Holiday, Tito Puente, Cecil Cruz, Hazel Scott, Count Basie, Adelaide Hall, and Oscar Hammerstein II to name a few. Then the famous personalities that were on the radio like Ralph Cooper and Eddie Anderson.
